The Gospel Project takes kids on a three year exploration of the entire Bible to see the one story of Scripture. Key truths of each story (that is part of the one big story) are taught and reinforced every Sunday at Parkside Kids.
Parkside Kids Media Center
To help our kids understand God's amazing story, we have a special classroom that features a giant timeline of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation! (The room is located directly across from the downstairs check-in desk).
Each lesson our kids study during the three year overview has a graphic on the 35 foot timeline, so the children can see where what they are learning that week fits into redemptive history. We will also have a genealogy of Christ on the wall, so kids can see God's perfect timing in Christ's coming.
In addition, the children's library is located in this room. Our kids visit and use this room during our class and worship hours! And this is a great place for kids and parents to visit and learn together outside of class times.
Come and see God's amazing redemptive story and plan presented right before your eyes! Seeing it may make you want to grab a chair and a cup of coffee to come study it for yourself!
The Gospel Project for Kids teaches our kids to:
See the Big Story: Kids will understand that the Bible is not a collection of stories, but God’s unified story of redemption.
Read Scripture as Christ-centered: The Leader Guide and Activity Pages provide a deep, Christ-centered Bible study experience for all ages.
Grasp Essential Christian Doctrines: The Big Picture Questions and Answers are designed to help kids understand essential theological doctrines of the Christian faith.
Study the Old and New Testaments: Kids spend equal time in the Old and New Testaments, learning the key distinctions of each and how they fit together.
